Dr. Lacity’s latest book draws on more than 15 years of research, including surveys of over 400 executives and in-depth interviews with thousands of senior executives, line managers, supplier account managers, business users, and outsourcing advisors around the world. A renowned expert on IT management practices in the areas of sourcing, IT privatization, relationship management, and project management, Dr. Lacity has authored six books, served as an expert witness for the US Congress, and was recipient of the 2000 World Outsourcing Achievement Award sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Michael Corbett and Associates. In addition to her position at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Dr. Lacity is also a Research Affiliate at Templeton College - Oxford University, and a Doctoral Faculty Advisor at Washington University.
