Infostroy specializes in the development of software for estimating cost of construction and design. Reality has forced companies to diversify their activities to be centered on integration of estimating applications and Primavera as the most powerful and widely used project planning tool.
Based on the number of inquires made by construction companies who recognize the serious obstacles that currently exist in trying to applying estimate data into project schedules, Infostroy has concentrated on resolving this problem. If information is entered from estimate to planning system manually, there are a lot of mistakes, duplicated data entry and specialist’s time spending on routine operations instead of analytical work. That is why Infostroy came up with a solution that makes it possible to transmit data from estimates to the schedule automatically, reduce the time for developing a project plan and alleviate mistakes by using only one source of information.
Product
Infostroy has developed its own integration solution, PMAgent. PMAgent is a flexible adapter that allows planners to connect project activities to estimated labor and non-labor data. Resources and expense, both planned and actual, are transmitted to project and monitored through “links” established between estimate and project activities. Resources can be filtered and aggregated, and, if necessary, estimating costs and volumes can be proportionally distributed between different project activities.
