Technology Partner Program
Existing Partner Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Primavera changing its Technology Partner Program?
The old program was very ad-hoc and offered little revenue growth value to Primavera and its Technology partners. Our new program provides a frame-work that will enable Primavera and our partners to significantly increase market opportunities.
Why is Primavera charging for the program when it has been free for years?
We are offering our partners a significant discount off the retail price of our solutions, support, events and advertising. By charging for the program we are able to provide better service to all the partners.
When is the deadline for existing partners to transition to the new Program?
Feb 28, 2006.
Will old partners be allowed to keep their NFR software?
Yes, but realize that if you have not transitioned by February 28, 2006 Primavera will no longer support your use of the software. Also, we will not extend the license file if you have not transitioned by February 28, 2006 to the new program.
What are the benefits of the new program?
Partner benefits have been outlined in the “Technology Partner Program Guide” which can be found on our website under the Technology Partners tab.
Are Primavera Authorized Representatives (PARs) permitted to become Technology Partners?
Yes. PARs with a complementary technology solution may apply to the program and if accepted they could be eligible for the “Standard” or “Premier” level.
If prospective partners are not strategically aligned with Primavera and are not accepted into the program can they still request Primavera software for integration development?
Yes. However, they will be required to pay the invoice price for the solutions.
Who should I contact within Primavera to learn more about the New Partner Program?
Please submit any questions that you have to partners@primavera.com
What will Primavera do with the References we provide them?
Our marketing group will work with you and your successful customers to develop press releases, case studies, etc. to create awareness of the joint success.
Is there a fee for the Technology Solution Certification Program?
Yes, we are working with a third party to determine the exact cost of the certification process and should have a response by January 2006.
Will our level of support change under the new program?
Yes. You now have the option in the new program to purchase Primavera “named” technical support.
Does our company need to be a Primavera Technology Partner before we can apply to have our Technology Integration Certified?
Yes. We will not certify an organization’s integration if they are not in our program and actively meeting their annual commitments.
What are the requirements to be a Technology Partner in the new program?
Partner requirements have been outlined in the “Technology Partner Program Guide” which can be viewed via our website under the Technology Partners tab or downloaded in PDF format from the same location.
