Product Description
PM.Exchange works offline. It was developed to give out tasks with further control of their accomplishing. The principle of its work is simple. The head of project, dispatcher or the person responsible for the actualization of the graph unloads the works that need to be accomplished in certain report period from Pirmavera database using PM.Exchange Manager Module. He can use different filters and selections so the contractor will receive the necessary information only. The head of project in advance makes a list of fields that the contractor can edit. The data received is send to the contractor by e-mail or any other suitable way. The contractor using PM.Exchange Client module reports about works completion.
The report can be formed either by works beginning or end dates, remaining duration, completion percentage, steps, actual volumes, resources amounts of works costs. At the end of report period, the contractor sends the file completed with factual data back to the dispatcher. The dispatcher opens the file and compares the data received to information of the schedule of Primavera database. By doing this, he receives graphic report of the changes made by the contractor and makes decision on transferring of these changes to database, including each item separately.
Integration Profile
PM.Exchange is developed using java technologies. It uses Integration API for connecting to Primavera database. PM.Exchange unloads works, resources, stages, and expenses information, thus forming the list of works for a certain period. After actualization of data for unloaded works in PM.Exchange Client module the actual data is uploaded to Primavera database using Integration API. After that, recalculation of the schedule is performed.
